Lance goes bright red. Again. Keith sighs heavily. “Dude, do you have a condition?”
“I’ve got a fuckin’ heart condition,” he mutters.
Keith furrows his eyebrows. That’s weird. He’s seen Lance’s medical scans before — he’s in the pods a lot. You’d think that kind of thing would be on there.
“It doesn’t show up on your med scans,” Keith points out. “Is it, like, a genetic thing?”
Slowly, Lance picks his head back up, squinting at him for several long moments. Keith begins to squirm.
“You’re actually slow,” Lance says with an almost awed tone of voice. Which is mean. “Like, genuinely, actually slow. I think there are bubbles in your brain.”

Lance kicks open his door, walking in screaming.
“Hello,” Hunk greets idly. And largely sarcastically, he will admit. Lance continues his wordless yell, vocalizing at the very top of his lungs, muffled only when he throws himself on Hunk’s bed and buries himself in Hunk’s pillow. “Shiro tells me you’re terrorizing people.”
“His skull is fucking solid!” Lance screeches.

It's 2023 and I'm new here! Hi! I'm watching the series for the first time I had to get this off my chest. Season 1 Episode 6:
Canon: Lance, distracted by pretty alien Nyma, ends up loosing Blue to space pirates. The paladin crew has to go rescue Blue and bring her back. Shiro sends Keith after them into an asteroid belt to flush them out.
My what if: Keith ends up seriously injured on this resuce mission. Meanwhile Lance can do nothing but listen over the comms while Keith is in danger because of him.
