“Commander Fox,” whoever it was said again, and Fox snapped his head around, instead of letting himself remember all again that Thorn was dead, that's why Fox had been in the Senate that morning instead.
He almost laughed when he found Anakin Skywalker staring straight back at him, head tilted to the side with a frown, and his gloved hand firm on Fox's wrist.
Or: Fox and Anakin realize Fox knows more than he remembers, and go on a reverse murder mystery where they try and figure out who they need to kill. Meanwhile, Marshal Commander Neyo gets pulled in to figure out why they're missing. Mostly he just wants to avoid sitting through any more policy conferences meetings. It gets emotionally messy along the way for everyone.
