Getting up to walk towards Heath with Kent following behind them, Suzuka put their hands on his shoulders and leaned towards her, "Heath.. it's amazing that Velvet tries out new styles on you and he puts in a lot of work," they paused to stare at Heath's reflection in the mirror before continuing, "Velvet seems to enjoy doing it as much as you like having it done. I'm sure if you were to ask, he wouldn't turn you away."
Instead of responding, Heath gave a wide smile directed towards both Suzuka and Kent.
Moments later, Velvet came rushing back into the room with a curling iron. Shooing away the both of them (though they didn’t move too far away from the vanity), Velvet plugged in the wand and waited for it to heat up so he could curl the sides of his bangs.
Heath smiled as he thought about what he was told, and she was glad that she had Kent, Suzuka, and Velvet to do these things with her. She was glad that they encouraged him to do new things, and was just overall glad that he had met the three of them.

Ness first noticed it when Isagi’s friends praised him. That shark boy does it a lot, and every time, Isagi blushes and waves the praise off, but everyone can tell that the boy truly appreciates the nice words. The way he glows afterwards is enough proof.
It intrigued Ness. Sure, he hates Isagi, but he can’t deny he glows in a beautiful way. The blush, the smile, the way his eyes light up - all reminders of why Ness loves pleasing people. He misses seeing that look. So, he tries it out for himself.
