There were two kingdoms, and they didn’t like each other very much. The White Flowers thought the Black Flowers were too boring and mysterious. “Why would you want to shroud yourselves when growth happens in the light?” the White Flowers would ask.
But see, the Black Flowers would sometimes think the same thing. Why make everything obvious, when you can solve a fun puzzle? “There’s appreciation to be had in the dark,” they would say. “You blind yourselves in the brightness.”
