It seemed that Bucky still had a type for his men, even after seventy four years being more a weapon than a living being, until Suguru took the reins of that.
When meeting Bucky’s tired but weightless expression, he felt the drum of his heartbeat hitting his own ribcage. Familiar, he never managed to escape bold blue eyes that boiled with humanity and compassion for it. Suguru just managed to switch the dazzling white snow strands for the earthy brown that nests underneath the snowflakes until spring returns.
