Summary
“Oikawa,” Matsukawa mutters, surprised more than anything. “It’s two in the morning, what are you—?”
“What’s wrong with me, Mattsun?” Oikawa pulls at the hem of his shirt, the sopping fabric clinging to his skin and leaking water onto the doormat. “Anybody, everybody I know would kill to have me. And the only one I want to feel that way won’t even look at me.”

Summary
Iwaizumi Hajime was an undercover officer with a single objective: Infiltrate the Seijoh Syndicate of the Yakuza and tear them down from the inside out. His primary target was the boss, Oikawa Tooru. The job itself was simple enough, until Iwaizumi got in too deep and absconded not only from the mission, but from the city itself.
Now, two years later, he’s dragged back into Tokyo’s unsavory underworld. A grisly string of murders is plaguing the city, and the culprits are most definitely Yakuza. The problem is discovering which Syndicate is responsible, and Iwaizumi – the leading expert on Yakuza affairs – is the man most suited for the job.
Despite his determination to stay away from Tokyo – and from Oikawa – Iwaizumi finds himself right back in the middle of Seijoh, and it feels a lot more like home than he’d care to admit.

Summary
Everything should be simple. Eliminate the traitor and take over the territory of the fallen Fukurodani. But when Oikawa puts feelings and emotions into consideration, getting rid of the traitor wasn't as straightforward as he thought. Iwaizumi had a terrible two years, to say that Oikawa had it rough was an understatement. Oikawa has to first learn to deal with his setbacks before thinking of bringing Seijoh to greater heights - first, he has to learn that Iwaizumi isn't who he thinks he was.
