Summary
"Your daughter is going to be fine in my house, Dream," George said teasingly as Dream walked up.
"Is she?" Dream hummed skeptically.
"Oh my god, what could possibly happen to your daughter? She's gonna be upstairs with Diana doing her hair," George said. "The worst thing that can happen is she burns herself with the curling iron."
"You're gonna let her burn herself with a curling iron?" Dream questioned.
"Get out of my house," George muttered.
In which Dream and George are each parent of two very wonderfully smart and mischievous daughters who happen to be friends. Oh, and of course, two daughters who are completely sick and done with their stupid rivalry that always gets in the way of their friendship.
The plan? Get them together in time for Prom. Maybe then they'll stop being so annoying.

Making a split-second decision, George jumped, arms around Dream’s neck and legs around his waist.
Dream caught him, taking a few steps back in surprise, accommodating for the added weight. They were both laughing, clinging to each other as hard as they could, before Dream pried him away enough so that he could kiss him.
“Hey baby,” Dream smiled.

Day 1: Royalty
“It’s much safer here, Your Majesty.”
The king scoffs, pulling his mantle up and around him to sit comfortably over a wooden crate. “I can assure you,” he says, watching the knight carefully light hanging candles across the walls of the cellar, “that I would be safe wherever you are with me, Dream. They cannot touch you, I know that quite well.”
“I am one man,” Dream responds in a quiet hum. He holds the match to the candle wick and allows it to share the flame before pinching the end out and tossing it into the damp, muddy cracks between the stone flooring. “I would fight for you until my death, Your Majesty, but I am not enough to fight off an entire army. You know that well, also.”
Or, Dream and George, knight and king, hide away in a dark cellar and speak of themselves.

Dnf Week Day 1: Royalty
Georges eyes flutter shut and he listens to Dream hum under his breath, a smile teasing at his lips, “What are you humming?” he asks quietly.
Dream presses a kiss to the older boys head, “Nothing in particular, just something that reminds me of you”, he replies, sighing into his hair, “I hear it every time I look at you, and it reminds me of how perfect you are.”
The kings eyes flutter open, his eyes pinned to the clouds outside, “That sounds delightful”, he murmurs, his cheeks aching from smiling so hard.
(or Dream is going into battle and George seeks his comforting embrace)
