“Should we stop him?” Techno asked with a monotone voice, sipping from a mug in his hand. Knowing Techno it was probably coffee, he needs that shit to live apparently. He should really get that addiction checked out.
“I just woke up. Wilbur can deal with it when he gets back.” His dad responded, not ever looking away from him. Tommy and Techno both saw the small upturn of his mouth. Tommy’s dad was the best person ever. He’s so unbelievably cool.
“Good choice Phil.” Techno responded before walking away, to some other room in the house. Tommy’s dad followed soon after him, not saying another word to him.

“Fuck you.” Tommy growled, bolting towards the man snatching the bag off his shoulder and speeding off with it. Sure, he was a vigilante. Sure, he was supposed to stop these things from happening, but hell he needed to turn in that assignment. And he needed that book.

Tommy turned sharply into a parking lot, filled with tons of shops crammed close together. Twisting and turning between shops as he made his way to the cafe that Ranboo works at.
“COVER ME” he yelled as he burst through the doors running straight to the employee bathroom to hide, almost knocking Ranboo over in the process.

Summary
He glances over and- oh.
The shop-keep really hadn’t done this kid justice, because his hair wasn’t just blond, it was practically golden. A color he’d liken to the sun, bright enough to blind and something he associated with his sounder, his home, his family. He was definitely still a fledgling, wings still small even when sprawled against the concrete and covered in a dimmed white-grey of down that was dirty with the grime of the city. The kid’s resemblance to Phil doesn’t escape him, especially when he opens his eyes slightly and a bright blue gaze meets his.
“Owwwww,” golden-boy whines, shifting upwards as he rubs the back of his head with a small, clawed hand, “that fuckin’ hurt!” His look turns into a glare as he adds, “Bitch.”
Techno had to hold back a surprised snort as he replied, “Heh?! You ran into me?!”

Techno watched cautiously as the flame began to dim back to its original size. “They’re all but unstoppable, even I can admit that. There is no known defense against bloodbending, with the only potential exception of a more powerful bloodbender. But,” The Fire Lord’s eyes glittered dangerously in the firelight, “we’ve found a weakness.”
Techno’s breath caught in his throat. Anticipation and dread coiled within him, each emotion making his stomach churn.
“A spirit.” The Fire Lord said, triumphant, “Known as the Blood God.”
