Lando had protested at first, suggesting the usual spots—Ibiza, Monaco—places where he could lose himself in parties and forget the world. But Jon had been firm. “No more distractions. You need to disconnect, not drown out the noise with more chaos.” And so, here he was, driving up to a remote B&B in the middle of nowhere, snow swirling around his car like a scene from a winter postcard, but feeling more like the edge of the world.

When they got on the lift, Lando was almost certain his dyslexia was acting up, causing him to read it wrong. He blinked two times, and tried again. No. Yep, his name was still there.
“We must encourage people to believe you two have a friendly relationship, that’ll help media stop spreading misinformation, all the activities are safe and—” Lando groaned loud enough to be heard outside the elevator.
