Summary
Taehyun’s stomach drops when Soobin takes a step towards him, pretty lips curving into a smirk. He steps back, only to meet the edge of the countertop. Soobin towers over him, wings unfurling slightly to cage Taehyun against the countertop. The elder gazes down at him inquisitively, tilting his head in thought. The motion sends a strand of navy-blue hair across his forehead, and Taehyun mindlessly reaches out to swipe it aside.
Soobin blinks cutely, lips parted in slight shock. Taehyun pulls away in realization, but the angel catches his wrist in one smooth motion, long fingers keeping his arm still.
“You know,” Soobin mutters, “I see the way you look at me, Taehyun.”
Soobin is gorgeous, and Taehyun is just a man.

"To lay in bed with a prince is one thing - but to one betrothed to another-"
"It is against my will, hyung." Soobin bit back, uncaring of the tears falling down his own cheeks.
The knight sucked in a sharp breath and averted his gaze from the prince. He kept his eyes to the ceiling, own tears left unshed as he continued. "Still, a noble knight should've never been in the position I'm in."
"I love you!" Soobin spat. "'I am yours as much as you are mine.' Is that not what you told me prior? Is that not what you told me just after confessing to me? After just laying in my bed and chanting it over and-"
"Enough!"
The sudden outburst from the knight took Soobin aback. Tears had finally fallen down his cheeks and his chest heaved. The prince merely sobbed as Yeonjun looked at him. "You are engaged. You are to be married by next month. For now... this is over."
It's the night before his wedding, yet prince Soobin can't stop thinking about his knight. In one final chance to be free, he visits the chambers to try to remind Choi Yeonjun of their love.
He only hopes the desire for the young royal is enough of a persuasion.

Summary
Why are you even here? Soobin scowls, using his telepathy to communicate. He glares at the villain, Choi Yeonjun, to get his attention. He discovered his civilian identity when they were caught in the alley (not making out) by his nosy friends, who asked for the name of his new “boo.” Soobin has no idea why Yeonjun decided to play along.
Yeonjun instantly raises an eyebrow after receiving the telepathic message. He probably didn't even know Soobin had this ability until now.
But the villain schools his slightly surprised expression just as quickly and leans back in his chair, sending him a smirk. Free dinner, obviously.
OR
Hero Soobin is stuck pretending villain Yeonjun is his boyfriend after his friends catch them "making out" in an alley (they weren't, they were fighting)
