After the brutal assassination of the crown land's monarchs, Prince Kaveh is left as a sole heir to the Sumeran throne. Though with tensions running high and peril shadowing his every moment, he is forced to flee the capital under the protection of his most trusted guard, Al-Haitham, before he is able to ascend as king. As bodyguard and prince are brought together by circumstance, old feelings begin to rekindle amidst the chaos, leaving both to question the weight of duty and heart.
