Summary
For a moment, Geoff was certain he hadn’t heard Tucker correctly. Almost certain, at any rate. He couldn’t think of whatever else the drummer might have said that he could have possibly mistaken for…“Swingers party.”
“Yeah,” Tucker confirmed, nodding.
“You want us to go to a swingers party,” Geoff repeated back to him.
“Yeah.”
The drummer looked so unperturbed that Geoff had to wonder if maybe he had started doing coke again. Frankly, considering the stress they had all been under lately with their label dropping them, he wouldn’t have blamed Tucker in the slightest. Geoff himself was having a hard time keeping from abusing painkillers – which he totally, absolutely needed – just to make himself numb on the best of days.
But that didn’t change the matter at hand, and Geoff had little else to argue besides, “But we aren’t a couple.”

Because it wasn’t as though the paladin had actually spoken to Tucker—no, it was the looks he caught Tom giving Tim in specific moments that caught the rogue’s eye. Such moments, of course, involved Tucker. And Anthony. And Tucker and Anthony.

It appeared that Frank had recovered from his speechlessness as he turned toward the vocalist, a mix of both curiosity and accusation radiating in his expression, causing Tucker to feel even more like perhaps he should just crawl back into his bunk, research how to invent time travel, and give up before he managed to figure out how to turn back the last three minutes. “Have you really never caged him all these years?”
The drummer hadn’t even noticed when Geoff managed to snatch the steaming mug from his own hand, humming with fascination as he brought it to his lips. Geoff made a slight groan at the temperature, too. It seemed nobody had the patience to wait for coffee to cool.
“You know, that’s actually never come up,” he noted, something in his tone suggesting that perhaps that had been an oversight on his part. “Why?”
“Your boy is in need of an education,” Frank explained without elaborating.
Geoff grinned. Oh, that was never good.

Summary
