Adaptation of Colin's view on Penelope's presentation to her Majesty the Queen, S1E1.
Suddenly, he heard the slap of a hand meeting a luscious bottom and he balled his fists in his lap, ready to get up to help the lady in distress, but instead of a shout of outrage, he heard the lady cooing and pressing closer to the man next to her, standing behind the railing enjoying the view. Colin’s neighbour chuckled and responded, “Pay them no mind, they are newlyweds and on their honeymoon.”
Colin looked at the couple and noticed the look of love in their eyes and their playful demeanour. “Ah, yes,” and his balled fists relaxed again and his mind wandered off again, but this time he was not thinking about the scene he wanted to capture. Instead, he was at the Queen’s presentation. It was the day his sister Daphne was presented to the Queen, and the day he had noticed a petite redhead in a light-sage coloured dress with gold embellishments.

“I was in need of company last night,” Rhaenyra explains primly, the shock of being caught by him thoroughly falling through to protecting her pride, “The King was insistent that nothing came of my nighttime adventures,”
She makes sure to very pointedly not say ‘our’, relishing a little when Daemon’s lips part, his brow furrowed as he clearly tries desperately to work his mind around what she’s done.
