Summary
This is a one shot "how it might go" argument and then sex scene between Vi and Cait based on the lines we hear in the Arc 3 preview.
I'm sorry it's a bit rough, wanted to get it out there before the actual show, but I hope we see something like this.
Set after the end of Season 2 Arc 2 (ep 6) in Caitlyn's office after they get back alive from scarred from fighting Ambessa and losing loved ones to Warwick.
I may write a part 2 "in Cait's bed" scene later.
I here am viewing Cait as a soft top and Vi as a power bottom, both emotionally vulnerable and Cait having a few implied kinks (and Vi a mild pain kink). I hope that doesn't clash completely with anyone else's vision. This is how they come across to me but I am no expert.

“Caitlyn,” she says. That isn’t right. That wasn’t the answer Vi was after. Names are easily given away but so seldomly remembered in Stillwater, but it echoes in Vi’s head. She almost doesn’t hear the actual answer. “And though I have no doubt a thousand people have given this answer before, I did nothing. I was doing my job, and then I was here. No trial. No sentencing. No crime to speak of.”

Half a decade into Vi's stay in Stillwater, a topsider turns up, raving about being a Councillor's daughter.

Vi glares at her and walks over to the wardrobe, yanking it open and ripping down that stupid fucking cape. Caitlyn watches her as she strides over to her and shoves the cape in her face.
“Start by burning this stupid thing and try being a fucking human being again!” she spits.
Vi and Caitlyn both have to deal with the aftermath of 2x06 and find what it means to be a team again.

Summary
After an impromptu conversation with Caitlyn's parents, Vi finds herself accompanying Caitlyn to her winter-home in Holdrum for a whole week. It's the first time Vi has ever been outside the city gates, the trip is fully-paid for and she'll get to be with Caitlyn the whole time.
The problem? They have to pretend that they're dating and hopelessly in love with each other the whole time.
For Vi, she won't really have to pretend.
