Saudade. (subst. fem.)
Portuguese substantive that claims no direct translation in English; It describes a deep emotional state of nostalgic or profound melancholic longing for something or someone who is absent.
Saudade was once described as the “love that remains after someone’s gone”. A stronger form of saudade may be felt towards people or things whose whereabouts are unknown, such old ways, old lovers, a faraway place where one was raised, and feelings one used to have and faded away, the golden memories of the youth. It brings sad and happy feelings and memories altogether. Happiness for having experienced it. Sadness for missing it.
In Portuguese, when you say, “sinto saudades de você” (I feel saudade of you), mostly means “I miss you”, but carries a much stronger tone. Generally, saudade carries a repressed knowledge that the object of longing might never return.
Note: The closest word to saudade must be the Korean keurium (그리움), that reflects a yearning for anything that left a strong impression in the heart – a memory, a place, a person.

It’s incredible really.
Stiles’ face is contorting in ways she’s never seen before, his back is pressed up against one end of the mattress as he tries to push it up and his face is a shade of red that Lydia doesn’t think is actually humanly possible. On the other hand, Scott is gripping the mattress as hard as he can because he knows if he doesn’t, Stiles’ obituary will read ‘crushed by speeding mattress’, but other than that, he seems bored which is definitely a stark difference to Stiles’ current expression. She really can’t be blamed for taking her phone out to send a video to Allison. It’s something that everyone needs to see in her opinion.

"We'll need lots of rules," Clarke whispers, a little too eager to feign believable hesitance. Jittery, aware of the looming disaster inevitably ahead and still willing to acquiesce. "Boundaries." It's hard to think straight, hard to pretend to be concerned with something as terrible as being away from each other when being so close; every shared exhale kicking up a tantalizing undercurrent of mouth-wateringly familiar scent.
"We can do that," He shrugs, shoulders lifting slightly in the peripherals of her vision; out of focus and secondary to the closeness of everything else. "We're, like, really good at being overly closed off anyways."
"I'm serious, Bellamy."
"And I'm the best option you have, Clarke."
"Fine," she grumbles after a moment, leaning her weight a bit more firmly against Bellamy and rubbing their noses together in a not-so-sullen admission of defeat, hand releasing its tight perch on her knees to instead grumpily fist the well-worn collar of his dark sweatshirt, "I'll move in with you."
