Kevin wanted to cry. He wanted to cry for his dad to find him. He wanted to cry for Andrew because he looked dead, slumped against the wheel. He wanted to cry because he didn't try hard enough to warn Neil, who’s now unconscious on the cement road, possibly dead too.

Summary
“Nightmare,” Kevin rasped. Andrew slid down the wall to sit next to him, knees up to his chest. The silence was comfortable as Kevin tried to reign in his galloping heart and take in some meaningful breaths.
Andrew sat silently, eyes watchful, but not pushing Kevin to explain further. After the conversation they had, it was half Andrew’s fault that Riko’s hot breath and bruising hands were haunting his dreams. No harm in telling him so.

The walls, Andrew remembered. When Proust did his fucking therapy, Andrew remembered the walls.
