Gang fights, drag races and motorcycles. Crowthis on tumblr drew some greasers and then allowed me to go hog-wild with the concept and write, you know, 48,000 words of Shepard being trouble. Purgatory wasn’t for everybody. Just the lucky ones.

Zell Dincht, Captain of the Ragnarok, has been put in charge of his own squad. The mission? To lead a joint venture between Esthar and Balamb to put an end to the rifts and find a way back to their missing ex-Commander.

Kaidan keeps his distance in order to keep Shepard from feeling trapped by the implications of a relationship he doesn’t even remember, trying to rebuild the Citadel while Shepard tries to rebuild what might still be between them. Written for the Mass Effect Big Bang 2012. It also wasn’t the first time he’d held onto hope that Shepard wasn’t dead.
