Minho nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard what seemed to be the sound of something careening into a metal trashcan followed by a groan. He halted in his steps and took a couple of brief moments to consider as the dancer looked back at the alley where the sound came from.
He’d already pushed his luck with the two intimidating-looking men barely giving him a second glance, so he didn’t know how far his luck was going to run with the alley person.
Well, the Seungmin in his brain was telling him to book it down the street and away from the problem. But of course, Minho was nothing if not a contrarian.
Cautiously, because he wasn’t a total idiot, he approached the mouth of the alleyway only for his eyes to widen as he took in the sight before him.

He holds his cards close, as though creating a second wall of discretion. Nagant doesn’t blink—she just studies him with this kind of bemusement.
“Would you like to run that by me again?” She asks wryly. “You have a crush on your—?”
“Yes.” Keigo rubs his temples, exhausted by a realization that’s haunted him for weeks now. Red creeps across his cheeks.
“Your pardoned war criminal boyfriend,” she continues, “of two months? Or your pardoned war criminal unofficial boyfriend of seven months who you were sleeping with?”
There’s a disruptive cough from a nearby guard, but they’re under heavy NDAs, which means Keigo can just watch them die a little inside while being unable to gossip about them.
“They’re the same person,” Keigo retorts tiredly.
“I know,” she says. “I just wanted to make sure you were aware as well.”
