“Well? Are you pleased with yourself? This was what you wanted, wasn’t it?”
There was no love lost between Gojo and the rest of his clan. That much, Gojo had reassured Kento of when they first began their trysts, and later, entered into a full-fledged relationship.
But he was still tethered to them. He was the head of his clan—he couldn’t easily walk away from that, nor could they in turn replace the first bearer of the Six Eyes and Limitless in four centuries. The Elders liked to pretend they had a handle on their young scion, and Gojo liked to pretend they didn’t exist, full stop.
It was only when they had made their relationship public that the Elders decided to butt their heads into their business, and Gojo, naturally, wanted to make it clear on where he stood on the matter.

It's a strange outlook and Nanami regards his hands again, trying to figure out if it's indeed the truth when Gojo continues. "Evidence that you've been touched." He punctuates this with a light brush of his thumb against the brunt of Nanami's hypothenar, nonplussed by the roughness even as Nanami has to suppress a shiver, his gums suddenly alight.

11:14PM, Nanami dies.This is Nanami’s eleventh October 31st. He anticipates Mahito’s touch like an embrace, except this time the punch never hits. Mauling Mahito in front of him stands the last man he’d ever want to see: Gojo Satoru.

“Don’t struggle,” Kento says at last, then pushes away from Gojo and his hold, dashing toward the fake Geto and just as he closes their distance, the prison realm moves. It grabs his shoulder first, then his legs. It doesn’t matter. Kento holds his cleaver and hurls it straight into Geto’s neck. The cut is messy, but it does the job. Right at the weak spot, the cleaver ran through, impaling the wall of the tunnel behind them as the fake Geto’s head fell onto the bright floor. He looks at Gojo just as his wrists are caught and says, “I’m sorry. Do the rest.”
