Summary
He won. Dostoevsky won. With the power of the Book, he was able to erase abilities off the face of the Earth, turning almost every ability-user into normal, unpowered humans.
But only 'almost'. Because while the Book is powerful enough to bring the 'godlike' ability-users down to normal, it can't overwrite the powers of an actual God. And those Gods were left to hide their abilities and try to blend in with the masses, lest they truly become persecuted.
Two years after the world changed forever, the last two ability-users in Yokohama finally cross paths. And now that they have found each other, perhaps they can finally begin to heal from the deep wounds carved into their souls so long ago.

Summary
Dazai, an Omega, forces Akutagawa, his Alpha subordinate, to spend his first rut with him so it ends quicker. Things go wrong and Akutagawa claims Dazai while he is in a feral state from his rut. Dazai, with the help of Mori, hides the fact that he was claimed by Akutagawa from everyone-- including the Alpha.
Five years pass. Dazai is with the Armed Detective Agency, while Akutagawa is still with the Port Mafia. Dazai's health is worsening due to hiding the fact he has been claimed by Akutagawa, so he finally confesses to the Alpha that they are mates.
The two must figure out how to live as mates while working through the pain and bloodshed from their violent past, and slowly grow to realize it is not so difficult for the Alpha and Omega to have a peaceful relationship.
