Summary
A report of the survey that was conducted on Twitter and via Google Forms in September 2022. Yes, it's finally done!
Izzy Hands is a character who divides opinions. He has a loyal fan following but there are also those who don’t shy away from telling how much they hate him. The interpretations of his character and motives vary a lot depending on who you ask.
This survey focused on finding out why the fans of Izzy like him. It’s worth noting that because this survey was conducted before season 2 aired, the current reasons for liking Izzy might be different from what they were after season 1.

“It’s only suicide if we die,” Bonnet chirped.
Izzy let out a deep sigh. It was painfully clear that the only reason Bonnet thought his plan was any good was because things usually worked out for him in the end. How many near-death experiences had the man had so far? Izzy had lost count.
Bonnet’s bravado seemed to convince the crew, though. They started to relieve the English soldiers of their uniforms. The air was buzzing with excitement. They were ready to follow Bonnet.
”Fuck this,” Izzy whispered, mostly to himself. Then, a little louder, ”it’s not going to work.”

During the Lockdown, Aziraphale picked up a new hobby: he started writing a book. Erotic literature, to be specific. Unfortunately, the sex scenes were giving him a bit of a trouble, because we all know how hard it is to figure out how human bodies actually work. So, when Crowley finally woke up, Aziraphale asked him to help him with some research.
”Nothing improper, I assure you, and only if you are amenable,” Aziraphale hastily added. ”It’s just that there are some positions I can’t fully describe in writing, because I’m not sure where all the limbs go and which body parts are touching and which aren’t and…”

“So… who is my daddy fucking in this, um-?” Lucius puzzles.
“We’re closed,” he snaps, somewhat less menacing for how he visibly has to shake that off. “Get the fuck out.”
Lucius works at a new bookstore, Izzy works at the porn shop that's been in the neighborhood for decades. They're instant enemies, but when they separately discover their bosses developing an anonymous email romance and are driven to meddle for completely different yet equally batshit reasons, they find they have more in common than they would have thought. Or at least, JefftheCPA and Gentleman59 do.
