it was an apartment for christ's sake.
it wasn't meant to be a home.
it didn't matter if van had tai in a shared apartment or if lottie had nat in a suite in one of her family's many hotels.
it really didn't because shauna had this.
an apartment she paid the rent for every month all by herself. it was something of her own. something she got to make her own. no forced color schemes that made the whole place look like something out of romcoms she was forced to watch (taking note of both the male and female lead), no posters of teenage heartthrobs that had their rise and fall… just her own space.
so yeah, it didn't matter in the slightest if her apartment was less of a home and more of a few walls and a ceiling.
