“Stop that…” they murmured, looking away from Taash’s gaze.
“What? Being concerned for your well-being?”
“Stop being obtuse. You know what I’m getting at,” Rook said, giving them a side long glance with warm cheeks.
Taash leaned even further into Rook’s space until their lips were close to their ear.
“Then go to bed,” they said lowly, “Karuna.”
“Okay!” Rook agreed, voice a tad pitchy.
Rook still tried to put up more of a fuss about going to sleep but was mollified when Taash offered to walk them to their room. And after a good night’s kiss. Or two. Or three.
Funny how significant that small moment felt now that they were gone.

Cheri turned to look at Bloodhound but they were already looking at her. Their eyes locked together and Cheri could’ve melted under the intensity of their gaze. She broke eye contact to look at their lips, bottom lip tinged pink and delectable. She looked back up and their eyes were smoldering.
Bloodhound reached and cradled the back of her head, guiding it towards their awaiting lips.

“Astarion… I’m a bit scared of this,” Nonae murmured, feeling the heat curl around her body getting ready to take over at a moment’s notice. “I’ve never fully lost myself like this before…”
Astarion held her face with one hand and pecked her forehead with a gentle kiss. “Don’t you worry, my love. Consider me your lifeline in this endeavor.”
When he pulled away to look at her, Nonae almost startled at the soft expression of patience on his face. She could almost hear the unspoken words, “Do you trust me?”
“Okay… Alright. I trust you,” she said resolutely.
Nonae could see his pupils blow wide at her admission and smile appeared on his lips.
Astarion guided her to the bed. “Just you relax, I’ll take care of you.“
