    That’s rare. Kaveh didn’t think Alhaitham would be interested in Kaveh’s choice of breakfast food. “Uh, sure. Let me get you a spoon.”

    Kaveh tries to get up, but before he can even push his chair back, Alhaitham’s hand reaches towards him. It happens so quickly Kaveh can do little more than gape and watch as Alhaitham snatches the spoon from Kaveh’s fingers, scoops some yogurt onto it and pops it right into his mouth. When it emerges again, it’s licked clean, not a drop left behind.

    “Not bad,” Alhaitham says, offering Kaveh his spoon back. “A little sweet.”

    Kaveh takes it, (almost drops it from how sweaty his fingers have become) and tries his hardest to get his vocal chords to start working again. “I… told you so…” he says weakly, staring at the spoon and then at the rest of his yogurt.

    Five times Alhaitham unconsciously invades Kaveh’s personal space and one time they finally talk about it.
