"My Violet," the Emperor responds simply, a hand at the nape of the Violet's neck, fingers gently treading through his hair. His Violet. That sound, in that voice, made him shudder from head to toe. Perhaps the Emperor truly wasn't wrong in his early assertions; perhaps the Violet had been conquered already.
