Summary
Riptide smirked as the villain froze in place as he was soaked from head to toe, his head still tilted back, his mouth still open. After a moment he slowly moved his head back to a normal position and spat out the water that had landed in his mouth. Inferno harshly blew air out of his nose to dislodge any water that was still there, or perhaps maybe to help get rid of the god awful feeling of having water stuck up your nose. After another moment's pause the brunette looked down at his drenched tight black shirt and pinched it between his fingers, pulling it away from his body as he examined it. He looked up at Riptide slowly as he heard the hero take a few steps closer to him, finally meeting his eyes with a small fake smile on his face. He slowly looked Riptide up and down, investigating the raven-haired man, before speaking in a cheerful tone laced with annoyance.
“Oooooo, water. Well isn’t this interesting! And just who are you supposed to be?”
Riptide’s smirk widened, growing cocky with his words. “The name’s Riptide. New hero. I’m going to be your downfall one day. I’m going to bring you in, Inferno.”
