He had no idea who dared to attack Loredo"s barge in the bastard"s own town, but they were most likely to end up imprisoned right next to him and send to drown down the river."
Or the story where Ciaran is imprisoned and alive on Loredo"s barge when Geralt and Iorveth defeat the guards, and it causes a lot of suppressed feelings to finally resurface. -

Melanie’s face crumples a bit, which she does her best to quickly smooth away, not quite succeeding. Georgie’s hands burn with the need to touch her, pull her close and hold her, her chest aching with the desire to try and make all this just go away, make it less complicated, make it easy and simple for her, muscle the world into something soft and yielding, something kind. She’s had to fight and claw for so terribly long. Melanie deserves gentle.
“Okay,” Melanie says, then takes a deep breath through her nose, holds, out through her mouth, something that Georgie finds herself unconsciously matching, since they’ve practiced together so often now. “Okay.” It feels so natural when she follows it up with a soft, “Georgie, can I kiss you?”

Martin loves autumn. He loves the cool breezes and the rainy evenings. He loves the drifting, colorful leaves, and he makes a point to find a few perfect ones to press in his old journal each year. He loves pulling out his soft jumpers, burying himself in cozy layers. But mostly, he’s learning, he loves the way the chill of autumn lends an extra ease of domesticity to his relationship with Jon. He loves the way Jon pads around in absurdly thick socks, the way he looks with bits of leaves stuck in his messy hair, the way he snuggles drowsily into him, murmuring don’t gos and you’re warms. It makes something in Martin’s chest swell and tremble. He loves Jon, and he loves autumn.
Loosely, 5 times Martin helps Jon stay warm + 1 time Jon helps Martin stay warm throughout their first autumn and winter together.
