Summary
“Achilles!” Automedon cried, between pants for air. He pulled the chariot in front of Achilles, blocking his path. Achilles' grip tightened on his sword.
“Get out of my way,” he growled. “Or I will kill you myself.”
Automedon visibly shrank.
“Prince Achilles,” he said, voice trembling. “I-”
“Well,” Achilles barked. “What is it? You are wasting my time. Do not think I will not-”
“It’s Patroclus!” he blurted, only realizing after he had said it that he had interrupted his prince. His hands began to tremble as he tightened his hold on the horses’ reigns. He watched the shift of emotion pass over Achilles’ face. Anger, to fear, then back to anger.
“What of him?” And though his voice was dripping with fury, Automedon could hear the underlying hint of distress within his words.
“He speaks.”

In a frantic attempt to soothe the rage of Achilles and keep Troy’s walls from falling, the gods decide to intervene and change fate. However, that does not mean Achilles gets to go unpunished.

Summary
She’d been his first friend. Even before Tim had joined the institute, he’d had Sasha. Not that they’d been particularly close, before Tim had joined them, but they’d been… twin spirits, in a sense. Sasha’s curiosity had been endless, and she’d had a mischievousness to her that had reminded Jon of when he was a boy, sneaking into all sorts of places he wasn’t meant to be.
It made sense, in a way, that their lives would be claimed by the same entity. They were two sides of a coin, tossed in the same horrible well.
“I’ve thought of my question.” Jon announced softly, somehow finding the will to speak.
Nikola paused, tilting her sagging face up towards him. “Oh?”
Jon thought it over, trying to find the phrasing. ”When I-Don’t-Know-You replaces someone… do they cease to exist?”
Nikola’s face pulled into a grin, and Jon had the sense that if she had eyes they would light up.

Michael waits just a little longer for his mercy kill, leaving Jon rattled enough to make his most desperate bargain yet.

After Elias reveals that Jon and his assistants can’t leave the institute without either of their deaths, Jon decides to take matters into his own hands. Unfortunately, even after his own death, the institute won’t let him go. He wakes up a ghost in the Institute, unable to leave the property.

Summary
A war base for General White’s rebellion has a fun surprise when it picks up a found family of 9 amnesiac, slightly violent, and *definitely* weird people. With nowhere for them to go and the war in desperate need of soldiers, they are drafted to “help” in the war effort.
Lyfrassir Edda escaped the Bifrost, but lost more than their entire world in the process. Filled with nothing but unexplainable eldritch powers, a good amount of self-loathing, and a hatred for the prisoners who left them to die, they are captured by General White’s war camp. Unfortunately for the soldiers, they learned how to be an annoying prisoner from the best.
Marius Von Raum is determined to figure out what his past is. So when he meets a prisoner who seems to recognize him, he will do anything, even work for the government, to get answers.
