Summary
July 1518 - Aziraphale is sent to the city of Strasbourg to investigate possible demonic influence. There, she meets with Crowley, who has been assigned to investigate possible angelic influence. The two discover that the city is in the grips of a plague where people descend into a dancing mania. Desperate to help but uncertain what Heaven would allow, Aziraphale struggles with her convictions, her growing feelings for Crowley, and ultimately, her own faith.

Summary
With the Second Coming averted and Aziraphale back on Earth, all Crowley wanted was a return to the way things used to be, before he confessed his feelings and kissed his best friend in what may be the most unsuccessful love confession of all time. In an effort to cheer an equally miserable Aziraphale, the two of them leave London to attend a murder mystery party in an old country estate. But things quickly go wrong and someone ends up dead. It's up to Aziraphale and Crowley to save the other guests from whatever dangers lurk within the manor. And maybe, Crowley will gather the courage to ask the one question he’s not sure he wants answered: why did Aziraphale come back?

Summary
'So you're going to start, what – praying?'
'I already pray,' Aziraphale says, primly. 'I am an angel.'
'Yes, but it's different, what you do,' Crowley says, impatiently. 'It's not all sitting around trying to decipher mistranslated Hebrew, and searching for the Virgin Mary in your tea leaves. You're on the staff!'

Summary
“You know,” Crowley said, “demons don’t really go in for fairness.”
“Well, angels do.” Aziraphale was leaning forward in his chair, his hands folded together almost prayerfully. He looked at Crowley with wide eyes as if he were trying to convey something desperately important. “If there’s something I can do for you — anything, really — just say the word.”
"Do you mean like an assignment in America?” Crowley said, naming a place Aziraphale never liked to go because he found it loud and distracting and evangelical. “Bit of temptation in Washington?”
"If you like.” There were two spots of drunken color high on Aziraphale’s cheeks. “Or something else, I only mean to say that I am at your service.”
