Laudna looked at herself in the mirror. She studied her fingers threading through black and white, her vision blurring with unshed tears. Wet trailed down her cheeks as Laudna parted her hair in the middle, two sections resting against her front, her eyes coming back to her own face as she smiled.
Control.
She could have it, even if it seemed insignificant on the great scheme of things, it mattered to her.

She wanted to rip the skin on her chest and let Laudna look. She wanted to show her everything inside, her heart speeding up just from Laudna looking directly at it, her lungs inflating and deflating faster and faster and faster the more she takes in, the blood running marathon's inside her veins and she needed her to consume it all. She wanted Laudna to know that she could dig into her all she wishes and Imogen would give her anything she asked for.

She didn't know why, but she wanted to map every last one of them, with her hands or her mouth or both. She wanted to feel them, touch them reverently and worship this woman she so desperately loved. She wanted to sit at the altar of Imogen's hips and mouth her prayers against wet skin, needed to hear Imogen singing back to her, a gospel only they could understand.
