I haven’t actually watched Stranger Things, but. I cannot begin to describe how lovely this series is. Steve and Billy’s lives have been desperate and difficult, but these stories are about the aftermath; the coping and the growing; the apologies, and the gentle, awful fight to feel something like okay. There’s something about the spirit and soul of these fics that is so warm and lovely. It’s young adults becoming more adult, and learning how to do relationships in a way that is healthy and kind. Not always getting it right, but always trying, because they love each other, and that’s important. So, so warm and so, so heartfelt.
