The Doctor was settling into the whole 'taking life one day at a time' thing well. Too well, maybe.
Donna eyed the TARDIS and said, "you'll let me know if he's sneaking off to acquire more trauma without me or someone there to drag him back home when it's over... right?"
The TARDIS didn't give any auditory response, but there was something in the back of her head. Like an agreement that was warm and fond and delighted to have Donna there. She hoped that was the TARDIS and not just her imagination.
"So, where's our idiot Spaceman gotten to now?"
