He would have no idea what had transpired a mere wall across from him, and with any luck, he’d never find out. The persona he had diligently crafted with his own hands was so sound that no one would even entertain the thought that Ariake had been doing anything unsavory during the night, or that his thoughts about the austere Daiba-san were anything but friendly.
The thrill of the chase… like a spider pulling its captured prey slowly closer in its web. The prey could struggle and thrash or simply lie there and resign itself to fate, and he would be the victor either way.

The moment he felt that it did not matter if Shen Qingqiu loved him back since he would stop at nothing in order to have him. So he thought he should punish his light. Take it apart. Shackle him so he wouldn't be able to run away.
And if Shen Qinqiu breaks in the process, then all the better. His tears, his smiles, his screams, their desperation. Luo Binghe wanted it all.
