Summary
Even when he tried to convince himself that the strange man with periwinkle eyes isn't real, Tanjirou knew deep within that the man who calls himself 'Yuu' had always been. Even when his childhood memories gets clouded, he never forgot how Yuu looked like the spy in crisp suit from the old movies his father loved watching.
Even when everyone around him begged him to stop, Yuu simply couldn't. He knew the restrictions and the consequences that came along with it, but he'd been seeing the same burgundy eyes even when it wasn't his job to collect him. “It doesn’t matter!” the stranger shouted over his shoulder, barely louder than the noise around them. “No one cares!”
I do. Giyuu wanted to answer back, but after he found himself pressed against the slender back of the burgundy-haired man, swaying to the intro of that odd song from the 80s, warm beer in hand, the other wrapped around the waist of the still nameless man, he couldn’t process any more thoughts.
“You’re drawn to me, I can see it in those piercing blue eyes of yours.” The man smiled at him, but Giyuu only saw how forlorn the action actually was. Hiding behind that million dollar smile is a sadness he couldn’t explain. “Because I’m a mystery to you. I intend to keep it that way.”
“It’s just a name. Just your name.” Please, he wanted to add, but he didn’t want to sound desperate.
Was it love at first sight? It certainly was for Giyuu, but when the night was over, he couldn't say the same for the stranger who refused to give him his name.

Giyuu, though he vehemently denies, is a famous face with a lot of girls trying to win his attention. He tried to show them how awkward and uninteresting he was, but this made his problem worse.
So he tried to hide away during lunch break on one of those day when the situation was too much for him to handle.
Tanjirou was there to save his day, and before they both knew it, they were craving for each other's company, one onigiri at a time.
