Summary
A few months after the events in the Burning Shores, things in the Base have quieted down. With her companions having gone their separate ways for now, Aloy works with Beta and GAIA to prepare for the upcoming fight. That is until Alva shows up with Seyka. And if trying to navigate the unknown terrain of being in a relationship wasn't enough for Aloy, a few familiar faces show up at the Base, asking for her help in finding some missing Tenakth, who have seemingly vanished without a trace.

It started with a playful slap to the face that Jean retaliated in kind, too intoxicated to care about the amount of strength he put into a punch. In return, Harry had tackled him to the floor, making room for a fight. After a knee to the stomach, Harry faltered, practically going limp and letting Jean pull him into a hold. After a countdown, he called it quits but Jean refused to let up. It was too soon to end it, feeling as if Harry was pitying him and giving in before it gets bad. They’ve handled each other worse, this was practically child’s play.
