The way the aroace character was included so deeply in the relationship journey between the main couple was revolutionary. This is also a friends to lovers journey that I can understand. The fact that they already have intimacy and so much support and understanding between them as friends warmed my heart and made the progression to “the same person just hyper focused on him” realistic and healthy to me
