And so here Taehyun is, in a coffee shop that he and Kai used to go to all the time during college and in Kai’s eyes, all Taehyun sees is a cautious friendliness. Like Taehyun, at the end of it all, is just an old friend who Hueningkai lost touch with when his band found fame and fortune and rocketed into the stratosphere where no one else could follow.
Or, Hueningkai and Taehyun meet up after five years.

Summary
Beomgyu doesn’t exactly remember how they got here. This point, the one where his bandmate is currently three fingers deep inside of him. To the best of his memory, it was something that was brought up painfully awkwardly. Yeonjun filled in the gaps when he explained a little over a year ago that he wanted to have sex with him. It was a simple negotiation at the time.
Now, Beomgyu aches with the urge to tell him that he can't keep this up. That he doesn't see him as only a friend.

“I have to tell you because she’s getting worse,” he said, refusing to look Soobin in the eyes.
Since their separation, Beomgyu had his hands full of Soo-mi while Soobin had his study and career keeping him on his toes. Soo-mi had been the sole reason connecting them now.
“Worse how? Is she going to be okay?”
Beomgyu took a while to answer his questions. There was a surprising conviction in the way he stared at Soobin, like he’d prepared himself for this talk a hundred times and refused to let himself be overcome by emotions. “Bad, just bad. And I don’t know—I don’t think she’s going to be okay.”
(Or the grief of losing their child, and how it brought them together again.)

Summary
Soobin got in the elevator, turning around to face the doors. There was a shockingly good-looking man walking in after him. For a split second, he looked up. Soobin felt a weird tug on his pinky finger. Thinking that he must’ve accidentally gotten it caught in the cardigan of the woman next to him, he pulled his hand away. There was a surprised yelp from the good-looking man.
Soobin lifted his hand so that he could see. Connecting their pinkies was a red string. “I– I need to get out here,” Soobin managed. His soulmate nodded, leading the way out the doors onto the floor where Soobin’s desk was.
“This doesn’t even seem real,” his soulmate said. “I thought this kind of stuff only happened in the movies.”
“Me too,” Soobin replied. He was still in too much shock to properly respond.
“Well… what’s your name?”
“Choi Soobin,” he answered, trying not to let his voice shake. “What’s yours?” He looked down at the lanyard. Underneath his perfect photo was the name Choi Yeonjun. "... You're my boss."
