She was absolutely going to kill Heimdall for making her sign up for speed dating. Of course her brother had only meant well, trying to solve the problem of her constantly whining about how she couldn't seem to meet anyone, but two hours of meeting everyone and yet absolutely nobody was essentially just 20 bad dates on steroids. She swore to the gods, she was never going to complain to her brother about her love life again in case he got any more brilliant ideas like this.

During a fateful shift at the Asgardian Transit Authority Sif saves the life of one Dr Thor Odinson, who fell on the train tracks during a mugging gone wrong. When she arrives at the hospital with a comatose Thor, a series of misunderstandings convinces his entire family that they are engaged! Hijinks and further misunderstandings abound once Thor's enigmatic brother Loki enters the picture, and Sif, against her better judgement, must convince him that she is in fact engaged to the family's sleeping beauty.
