After exploding at his roommate, he hadn't expected Itto to knock on his bedroom door a week later and ask to hook up, which leads into a longer-term arrangement. Which is why Gorou is spending so much time on Itto, because apparently, he has to be the one to introduce the Oni to kink. Because God forbid he just learn on his own (even if Gorou hates that idea).

Summary
Soap, the only human officer on the taskforce, was easily able to hold his own against the Winged members. He could stand his ground in sparring even with wings knocking him side to side, he could almost predict what the Wingeds needed before they could even ask, and he had – as Gaz declared – a godly skill of helping detangle feathers and preen wings after long missions. His knowledge of Wingeds also came in handy on missions when he could tell what was wrong before the others were willing to admit it.
It also meant he knew the number one rule of combat with Wingeds: aim for the wings.
After all, a downed bird is a dead bird.
