Summary
He pushed Jason to the back of his mind as he parked in an alley. He didn’t have a goal, a case, or anything real to focus on, so he grappled to the highest building he could find and stood in the open air, watching the traffic below. Stop thinking about it. It doesn’t matter now. Focus. Focus.
He stepped forwards, basking in the motions of the city. Then he jumped off the railing, pushing himself down, down, folding his body in as the thrill of the flight gripped him. Familiar adrenaline and the comfortable embrace of gravity pushed everything else away, and he was floating, freefalling, perfectly in control. The entire world closed in to a single point, the moment of release.
It's been a few months since Jason disappeared, and after a thorough private investigation (courtesy of the Batman) it's well past time to file an official missing persons report. Dick has so many regrets and everything is his fault - but he's completely fine.

Summary
He dreamed of sand, slipping under his feet, holding him in place as he ran and ran. Turning red beneath him. The taste, grit in his throat, clogging his mouth and nose. Hot grains slipping between his fingers until they burned, turning red and blistered as he struggled to hold it all. Sand against his skin, chafing him raw. Sand in his hair, pouring into his eyes.
He shivered, pulled the blanket tighter around his shoulders, reminded himself that Jason was here , he was breathing, not bleeding.
Jason Todd survives the Joker. Now he has to live with that.

Summary
Lessons from the dogs: Bleat and cry when cornered. Never walk into barbed wire fences. Eat when hungry, sleep when tired. Stay with the flock. And never, ever, let the monster catch you alone.
Jason goes missing after a run-in with the Joker. Bruce is convinced he's still alive, despite all evidence to the contrary, and won't stop until he's found his boy.

Summary
He had spent four years terrified out of his mind, begging for Bruce to appear, to save him, and now when it was possible he didn’t want him at all. He just wanted space, somewhere to be angry and scared and self-destructive away from everything, so nobody else could get caught in the blast radius when he exploded again. He wanted to go back, all the way back to being the little boy who begged for his dad to save him, not a violent animal with a hair-trigger temper and a monster between its teeth. But here he was, smashed glass with jagged edges, so angry he thought it would crawl out of his throat and strangle him in his sleep.
Jason and Dick have a chat. Words can't hurt, right?

Summary
In a universe that falls somewhere in between Teen Titans and Young Justice, Robin was fourteen years old on the day he was killed in action, caught in a clever trap laid by the world’s most dangerous mercenary assassin.
Deathstroke’s Apprentice was fifteen on the day he finally surrendered to the Justice League, with blood on his hands and scars that will never heal.
Dick Grayson is seventeen on the day he chooses to face Slade Wilson again.
Some things you lose and can’t ever find again. Some things you drop and leave behind. Some things you just have to learn how to carry with you.

Summary
“Lil’ wing?” He tries, about to get out of his bed before Jason's eyes widen and he takes a few impulsive steps forward, almost as if to push him back. It’s endearing -- Jason has never met a problem he hasn’t tried to fix with his hands.
“No, no, I mean it. Go back to bed. I just couldn't sleep, is all. I'll go warm myself up some milk, don't worry about me.”
The feeling is more deep-seated now. There's something big that he doesn't remember, something devastating, something that makes Jay look at him like they're both fragile. It pulls at him, some awful premonition stirring in his chest. He barely has time to open his mouth to ask “Where's everyone?”, though, before it hits him. Before he remembers.
He remembers.

Summary
Dick was in full tantrum in the kitchen, cheeks red and wet with rage directed straight at Alfred.
He moved carefully into Dick's sightline and kept his limbs loose and not 'bossy'. Dick didn't like 'Bossy Bruce'.
"Morning. Status report?" He directed his words to Dick but put his hand on Alfred's shoulder. They were a team, all three of them.
He sucked in a breath and Bruce steadied himself for the shriek but Dick exhaled and unclenched his fists. "I'm sad and I want soup."

Summary
“You just gotta wait three days,” Dick shrugs, “You'll be claimed.”
Tim's hold on his spoon tightens, and he looks away so they don't have a chance to see his crushed expression, “How can you be so sure?”
A snort brings his attention back to the two camp councillors in front of him. When Tim looks up to glare at them for finding his concern an amusing affair, he realises they're not laughing at him. In fact, they're sharing a fond sort of look between each other, like there's something about this whole thing that's familiar.
Dick looks back at him, expression kind despite the heavy look behind his eyes, “There are no unclaimed children at this camp.”
(Tim Drake is a newly orphaned demigod, though not for long.)
