Max raised his hand, nearly giggling at the small sigh George gave him, rolling his eyes softly as he called on him. As if Max hadn’t been leaning over him as he wrote it, resting his chin on his shoulder, whispering ideas in his ear. Only some of them about the GPDA statement. “Yes, Max?”“I just wanted to say that the section on swearing was particularly well written,” he said, beaming as the barest hint of praise left a scattering of pink across George’s cheeks. “You write very well.”
“Thank you Max,” George blushed, ducking his head. From the back of the room, unobserved, Max blew him a kiss.
