Summary
He’s going into heat. He’s going into heat, and Wade’s not here. The one time they separate for any significant length of time, and he has to fucking go into heat. More than anything, he’s angry at himself for not catching it sooner. It’s usually pretty easy to figure out when it’s coming on- but he’s blindsided, and that just pisses him off. He lets out a low growl of frustration, raking a hand through his hair, and makes his way to the living room, slumping on the couch.
“God fucking dammit.” No one is there to hear him but the dog, but saying it out loud still satisfies him a little. He groans.
Wade is going to be gone for seven days. And that’s if the job goes well and he doesn’t run into any problems that would delay him. By the time he gets home, Logan is going to be in the thick of it.
Wade leaves for a few days on a job, and Logan's heat sneaks up on him at a bad time. What's a lonely Wolverine to do?

He’s such a bastard. Pain makes it a little worse, sometimes, makes his fuse short. He knows that Logan is just trying to help, because he loves him, and he’s a good fucking guy like that, no matter how much he pretends and says he isn’t, but Wade can’t stand it, in spite of himself. And Logan shouldn’t take it personally- he never let Vanessa help him, either. When he got sick and his whole life went to hell, he did everything in his power to keep her from doing anything close to doting on him. It makes his skin crawl, makes him feel small and vulnerable in a way that he does not like, and he avoids it like the fucking plague.
Wade struggles with chronic pain, and has a bad day. His normal MO is to tough it out, but ever since he brought home a boyfriend, he's learning that there are some things he doesn't have to do on his own. Enter Logan, and Wade gets a day of TLC from The Worst (Best Ever) Wolverine.

Vanessa peeks over her shoulder, one playful eye mocking him. “I’ll be the judge of that.”
His self control is frayed, threads popping loose one by one until it’s a single strand keeping him together. Her body is velvet soft and soaking wet and Logan can’t do it, the thread snaps, his hips snap, and Vanessa moans in earnest now, caught off guard and pleasured.
It’s been so long since Logan has had this. It was so easy to ignore the need when he’d denied it for nearly a decade, but fucking Wade had cracked open the shell he’d built around this part of him that needed physical attention. Denying himself pleasure had been his repentance, but now he considers something new: if he was the worst, then maybe he should live up to it.
