Jaskier looks up at her, eyes bright. He doesn’t quite smile, but she can tell it’s a close thing. “I know,” he replies.
Yennefer takes a deep, steadying breath, and tips the candle.

The guy isn't tall, or particularly tough-looking. But Bucky watches him lay a hand on Steve's bicep and Steve visibly recoils under his touch, his mouth moves and shit, he wants to grab Steve right out from under the creep's hands and hightail it out the door.
