The incredible weight of fatigue makes time itself melt away. Frank's been fighting this all alone the entire time — to the point where he honestly doesn't think he can anymore — and he just wants someone to notice.
Gerard went to high school with someone who had this. It was all too familiar to walk into her house and see her softly crying into her blanket because the exhaustion ran straight to her core.
