With a cast of characters including a guilt-ridden Tozer, a reformed Irving, and the unwillingly-promoted Commander Fitzjames. And one William Gibson Esq, who is not about to let anyone forget a certain Incident any time soon.

For God’s sake, this is his life. This is his actual life. He’s a grown man: he has a mortgage and insurance and a pension and everything. So how the hell has he come to be fooling around in the back of a car like a horny teenager with Colin fucking Hughes, of all people?!
It’s bad. It is very fucking bad. (Though not, Nate has to admit, bad enough to stop.)
Hooking up with a footballer ten years your junior is a Very Bad Thing Indeed. And while Nate is having an existential crisis, Colin isn't helping - but then, to be fair, it wasn't like he was trying to. -

So Isaac flinches away, and he raises his arms up to protect his face, just for good measure.
