Summary
On his second cancer rate promotion he stood tall, just outside his building, shamelessly puffing away regardless of the people around. It didn't matter. All of these bypassers are strangers of whom wouldn't meddle on a situation like this. He's simply one of them. A nobody to every eye but himself. Though he felt stupid to think of it, he hoped someone he knew would coincidentally walk past him and recognize his struggle.

The bitter scent of the tar is stuck in every nook and cranny of the office, a product of a non-stop cycle of burning his lungs at work. It's disgusting, he finds himself disgusting, but at the time Reigen couldn't care less. He came from a long line of heretic chainsmokers, he was an addict and he was born to follow that same path.
That wasn't a trait he felt obligated to make changes to until he had company.
