    "Todoroki-kun." Midoriya greeted back tentatively. He tilted his head, and Shoto's breath hitched in panic, as he realized he had no idea how Midoriya will react to this, to his...episode. What would he say? How would he feel, seeing Shoto like this, pouting over things that long since happened like it'll help, shaking and pale and weak. Midoriya deserved better, then to clean up another one of Shoto's messes.

    How long would it take before he realized that Shoto was a lost cause? Before Shoto disgusted him as much as he eventually disgusted everyone he loved?

    With unconventional methods, a few broken bones and self-sacrificing attitude, the vigilante dubbed Carbon Cat attempts to balance crime fighting, evading arrest, living alone, and high school. He can't tell which one is the most difficult.

    OR: in which Izuku never receives One For All, becomes a vigilante and tries to keep everyone at an arms length. Doesn't mean they'll let him, though.
