He staggered and lost his step in the snow, hitting his head on a rock. Snow blew over his sight and he saw stars.

“Look, all we have to do is pretend to date until after finals are done being graded. Then when we see that I pass, we can stage our break up, and go our separate ways.” Y/n explained in a hush voice, careful so that Verita couldn’t hear. Liu dipped his head down to Y/n’s ear, whispering something into it.
