Justin is the exact opposite of Alex. He can't do anything without thinking through it; she is impulsive in the extreme. Sometimes it annoys her, but mostly it's nice to know he’s thought it through thoroughly and still decides to care for her, and help her, and spend time with her.
Very rarely, an occasion comes up that requires Alex to be both impulsive and thought-out, and it's almost always Justin she pulls her claws out for.

Summary
There’s a sound not dissimilar to a falcon’s screech that comes from somewhere further to their right. He peeks out from behind Ford and sees a huge amalgamation of sticks, feathers and medium-to-large bones weaved together into a nest.
Ford is intently scribbling something down into a waterproofed journal. Dipper catches a glance of a sketch of the nest along with some margin notes describing its parts.
“Alright, listen very carefully now. I’m going to need one of the feathers on the edge of the nest, preferably the big one poking out right around there,” Ford motions to the side of the nest closest to them. Dipper squints for a couple seconds, then nods, spotting the target.
“I’m way too heavy to try walking on the sticks, they’d break and alert the griffins of our presence. So I’ll need you to sneak there and grab it. You got it?” he asks, looking at him expectantly.
“Yup, I got it. Quiet as a mouse!” Dipper whispers.
---Whilst out hunting anomalies with Ford, Dipper gets injured. Stan doesn't take it too well.
