“And what is it inside those bags?” His question sounds unintentionally rude, merely inquisitive.
The other man laughs through his nose at the intrusive question, yet with the same tone in his voice as always, he calmly replies, “They are cleaning products and some waste left over after I finished cleaning.” Yeonjun makes a sound in his throat as if to show understanding and looks around, pondering whether he should bid the man goodnight and leave.
However, he turns his gaze back to the seated man, who continues to stare at him with a smirk, and dares to ask once more, “And why clean the house so late at night?”
Shaking his head and lowering it to look at the ground for a few brief seconds, he then raises his gaze to meet Yeonjun’s, “It’s my job. Cleaning. I clean houses.”

The distorted shape of the man disintegrates into mere shadows and half truths, as the line between good and evil blur into an indistinguishable gray. Time slows, stretching each second to an agonizing eternity.
And without a second thought, Soobin pulls the trigger.
